The Rock VillageI went sailing for the first time last summer. The air was warm, the sky was a nice deep blue, and the breeze was gentle and salty. After a couple hours on the boat, I dozed off on the deck. I was awakened by a large shadow in the sky. The air suddenly became colder and a fierce rumbling came from above me. I sat up and saw the strangest sight I’ve ever laid my eyes on. It was a boulder. A huge boulder. About the size of one hundred wealthy mansions. I couldn’t believe my eyes as my boat sailed quietly beneath the looming floating rock in the sky. As I looked closer, I noticed a castle of some sort sitting on the top. I wondered if people lived there, or if this boulder was just in my imagination. As my boat sailed farther and farther away from it, it vanished. I’ll never know if that large rock kingdom was all in my head or not…
